TGCET 2021: TS Gurukulam 5th Class Entrance Test (TS Gurukul CET)

TGCET 2021 is a common entrance test that would be conducted every year to 4th Class studying students for admission into 5th class in all Telangana Residential Schools i.e., Gurukulams for the academic year 2021-2022. TSWREIS would release the TG Gurukul CET (Telangana Gurukul CET) 2021 in February month.

Online applications would be invited from the eligible and interested Class 4th studying students for admission into TS Gurukulams i.e TREIS General, SC, ST, BC Gurukulams for the academic year 2021-2022. Previously each Gurukulam conducted the 5th Class Entrance Test in an individual manner. Now, Only one Telangana Gurukulam 5th Class Common Entrance Test 2021 would be conducted in every year for admissions into TS Residential Schools for SC, ST, BC Students.

This TS Residential Schools Admission Test for 5th class admissions in TREIS, Social welfare, Tribal Welfare, BC Welfare Gurukuls. So, 5th class Common Entrance Test for all TSWREIS, TTWREIS, TREIS, TSBCWREIS Residential Schools. For this year, TGCET Exam will be held on 30-05-2021 in all District head quarters. Government of Telangana, TSWREIS has released the 5th Class Common Entrance Test, TGCET 2021 for admission into 5th Class in TREIS, SC, ST and BC Welfare Residential Schools.

And TGCET online applications are invited from the eligible students for admission in Telangana Gurukulams through TS Gurukul CET 2021 which will be conducted in April 2021. Interested students can apply through online mode at TGCET Website http://tgcet.cgg.gov.in from 10-03-2021 to 10-05-2021. TGCET Result will be released after conduct of examination on its official website of TG GURUKUL CET for Admission into 5th Class for the academic year 2021-22 in all 21st Century Schools.

TS Gurukulam Vidyalayas are a group of schools formed by the Telangana Government to provide good quality modern education to the talented children from predominantly rural areas irrespective of their families socio-economic background According to State Education Policy under KG to PG Scheme.

The T Government Formed Gurukula Vidyalaya Societies i.e TSWREIS, TTWREIS, TSBCWREIS, TMREIS and TRIES under the School Education Department look after the routine functioning of these Gurukul schools i.e., TS SC, ST, BC, Minority and General Gurukul Schools. All the schools under the name of Gurukul Vidyalayas are residential and not co-educational.

The students are provided food, clothes and residential facility free of cost. The institution aims at inculcating in the students a strong value system and respect for Indian culture. It also strives to make the students proficient in three languages under the three-language formula.

The main objective behind these set of schools is to serve, in every district as the main points for improvement in the quality of school education in general through sharing of experiences and facilities. At present, there are 615 Gurukul Vidyalayas which are functioning at the district level.

The government is working towards extending this facility to the sub-divisional level. The schools under the KG to PG scheme are affiliated to Board of Secondary Education (BSE). A special entrance examination is held for admission to Class V.

In 5th Class entrance Exam, questions of 4th class level in objective type. Duration of the exam is 2 hrs. Exam will be in Telugu, English & Urdu Media.

The TGCET examination is highly competitive because the number of seats that the Society declares is limited. The candidates are attracted to good education and provision of free food, clothes and lodging and therefore, there are a large number of applicants.

Age limit for TS Gurukulams 5th Class Common Entrance Test: Candidates should have born between 01/09/2010 to  31/08/2012 (Age between 9 to 11 years as on 01/09/2021 are eligible) and 2 years exemption for SC, ST candidates. i.e Age between 9 to 13 years as on 01/09/2021 are eligible (Between 01/09/2008 to 31/08/2012).

Educational qualification for TGCET 2021: The Students should be bonafide of Class IV during the academic year 2020-2021 in any Government School or any recognized school of Telangana State.

Income Limit: The Parental income for the year 2020-2021 should not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- per annum for rural areas and should not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- for  urban areas
