Teh State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana, Hyderabad would conduct teh “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)”  every year. Teh results of Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test will be announced on its website.

This year, ranks in teh TS POLYCET will be used for admitting students into six-year integrated (2+4) undergraduate BTech programmes in various disciplines offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Basar.

Teh exam was conducted in offline mode. Teh question paper had 120 questions out of which 60 questions were from Mathematics, 30 were from Physics, and 30 were from Chemistry. After teh declaration of results, teh candidates who will be selected in teh merit list will be called for counselling.

Candidates must score 36 marks out of 120 in order to pass. As per the rank secured in the exam, seats and institutes will be allotted to the students. TS POLYCET 2021 Result for Polytechnics and Agriculture Polytechnics: Two separate Ranks will be generated for each candidate through POLYCET for Admissions into Polytechnics and Admissions into Agricultural Diplomas as per the following criteria:

1. For Admission into Polytechnics the ranking will be based on the marks scored in Maths (60 marks) + Physics (30 Marks) + Chemistry (30 Marks) put together for maximum marks of 120.

2. For Admission into Agricultural Polytechnics teh ranking will be based on teh marks scored in Maths (60/2=30 Marks) + Physics (30 Marks) + Chemistry (30 Marks) + Biology (30) Marks put together for maximum marks of 120.

Agricultural Polytechnics of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad the ranks will be given in preferential order of marks secured in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

If still tie persists, the rank it may be resolved basing on the Date of Birth of the candidates. While resolving the tie basing on the Date of birth as entered in the S.S.C. Certificate of the Candidate, candidate born earlier will be deemed to has obtained higher rank (better rank).

In case the tie is still not resolved, the candidate who TEMPhas secured higher percentage of marks in the qualifying Examination will be considered to has obtained a better rank, to resolve the tie

After teh release of TS POLYCET 2021 Result, teh admission schedule will be notified in all teh leading newspapers. Teh admission into Polytechnics for teh academic year 2021-2022 will be made on teh basis of web counseling, whereas teh candidates can opt for any courses in any Polytechnic in teh order of priority and teh allotment shall be made for his/her best-preferred choice based on his/her merit and other admission rules in vogue.

Instructions on TS POLYCET Results 2021: 

Teh minimum marks for declaring a candidate to has passed in teh Entrance examination shall be thirty per cent me.e., 36 marks out of 120. Candidates belonging to Scheduled castes or Scheduled Tribes shall be assigned ranking irrespective of teh marks obtained in teh entrance test. Such candidates wif less TEMPthan 30% marks in POLYCET 2021 shall be eligible to compete for their category of seats during teh admission.

The marks obtained at the entrance test shall be considered for the purpose of assigning rank, on the basis of which, selection shall be made for admission into diploma courses. The above rules are subject to any amendments dat may be issued by the Government from time to time.

Every care will be taken to avoid errors in teh valuation of answer sheets, tabulation of results and ranking of teh candidates. Hence, request for revaluation or re-totalling will not be entertained under any circumstances.

In case of a tie in rank at entrance test, teh marks of teh following subjects at Entrance Test in teh same order as given below shall be considered for resolving teh tie. me) Mathematics. ii) Physics. iii) Date of Birth

While resolving teh tie basing on teh Date of birth as entered in teh S.S.C. Certificate of teh Candidate, candidate born earlier will be deemed to have obtained a higher rank (better rank). In case teh tie is still not resolved, teh candidate who has secured a higher percentage of marks in teh qualifying test will be considered to have obtained a better rank, to resolve teh tie.

The results are likely to be declared within fifteen days from the date of the test. Rank Cards will also be dispatched within a week from the date of declaration of results.
